about the site
Firstly , a billion of thanks to my host who lovingly hosted me at hyouri.org!
After its one year birthday for Airisu, it would no longer be a blog for my daily personal life.
Instead this site shall be a site that writes about reviews related to art and also my portfolio. Hopefully, in this way, i would have more exposure towards the world of art.
I am not the best writer,or artist or reviewer but i will do my best to improve as time passes!
why the name "airisu"
Do note that airisu is just spelled in a way how the japanese (the way they speak) pronounce the word "Iris". (the flower)The japanese name for iris is ayame or something else instead.
I chose the flower Iris as it is a beautiful flower with a lovely shade of purple (commonly) and also in the language of flowers , it holds a great meaning.
Iris symbolises : Hope , faith , wisdom and valour.
Also i found my love for irises in one of my favourite manga series "Spiral" where they used the flower iris as the meaning for "the happiness of the believer" (which is to have faith and hope for the better).
The meanings of this flower holds a special significance to me thus i named this site with the name of the flower Iris.

Version ? : Flourish
After a year of having airisu, i decided to make a new layout. Iris flowers are generally purple thus i decided to use purple for the theme. And white represents purity and something new. So i do hope, in a new year, airisu could flourish even more than ever.
I decided to keep it simple too after i got tired of detailed layouts. *smacks self*

There are many past layouts but i lost the screenshots for them. so this section may take a while to update with all of the layouts.

Hooo---ray! After nature and anime.. now its games! Featuring the currently hot topic of gamers : Final Fantasy versus 13!
Well this guy here is call Noctis, i wanted a dark layout thus i chose him. but now is it a little too dark? *ahh the perfect graphics..*
Version 2 : Spring's Song
Finally something that fits. not really. its almost autumn and a spring layout pops out? oh well i am going all crazy over the artwork of kobato anyway.
Lovely layout , i like the headers but not the overload excess of pink.
Version 1 : Lonely Winter
Why a winter layout during summer? I aint sure. I just fell in love with this picture the moment i saw it. Its so breathtaking. I love the feeling of lost and loneliness within it. Perhaps i am someone who is sadistic enough to like wierd things.
Well , its not wrong to like nature right?
